Our Story
LCI is a grant research, writing and management consulting firm owned and operated by LaTania D. Anderson. Headquartered in Baton Rouge, LA, the company has been servicing local municipalities, small businesses, nonprofits and faith-based organizations for over 13 years and has secured millions of dollars in funding for its clients. Ms. Anderson started the business with only $348, a computer and her experience working with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) as an Intergovernmental Affairs Liaison and Deputy Lead after Hurricanes Katrina, Rita, Gustav and Ike. While working with FEMA, Ms. Anderson was responsible for ensuring the 35 parishes she was assigned received their reimbursements from FEMA for any damages they sustained during the disasters. Ms. Anderson was also responsible for researching grant funding sources for the parishes and municipalities to supplement what was given by FEMA.
Ms. Anderson has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications from Southern University and an M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix
