Major Milestones and Successes in Grant Writing and Management!
I’m beyond excited to share some of the incredible projects I’ve had the privilege of working on recently! From securing game-changing grants to coordinating impactful events, here’s a look at the amazing opportunities I’ve been a part of:
City of Baker:
Contracted to write and manage a $1,030,121 HUD grant, funding 5 transformative projects in the city.
Secured a grant for the city to hire a Code Enforcement Officer, strengthening safety and compliance.
Obtained a grant to construct a Multipurpose Room in the Baker Auditorium, which will serve as an Emergency Operations Center (EOC) in times of disaster.
Secured funding to renovate the bathrooms in the Baker Auditorium, improving public facilities.
Contracted post-2016 flood to handle Project Worksheets (PW’s) and provide comprehensive Grant Management Services, helping the city recover and rebuild.
US Coast Guard:
Contracted to provide professional services during the Deepwater Horizon BP Oil Spill, playing a key role in the response efforts.
Town of Maringouin:
Coordinated a Hurricane Preparedness/Awareness Event at the town hall, helping the community stay safe and informed.
Town of Roseland:
Contracted to write and manage several key grants, including the Local Government Assistance Grant (LGAP) and Community Water Enrichment Fund Grant (CWEF).
Assisted with securing FEMA funding after Hurricane Isaac and the 2016 Flood, ensuring the town had the resources needed for recovery.
New Journey Christian Center:
Chosen to help secure their 501(c)(3) status and obtain funding for their community programs, enabling them to make a larger impact.
It’s been an incredibly fulfilling journey working on these impactful projects, and I am more motivated than ever to continue bringing these opportunities to life for communities.
